How to Keep Looking and Feeling Refreshed FOR MEN & WOMEN

Everyone loves feeling refreshed and clean. However, finding the right skincare products that help you look and feel refreshed can be a little difficult.

There are so many products on the market and some of them can have toxic chemicals, leave you oily, cause an infection, or even cause you to breakout. To avoid this, I came up with a list of products that keep your skin looking soft and clean.  After reading this, you’ll be rushing to add these products to your skincare routine. With that being said, here are six different products that will help you feel and look refreshed!

STEP 1-Face WashCaudalieVinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser

A face cleanser is one of the most important parts of a skincare routine. A cleanser works to remove dirt and grime from your face, therefore preventing breakouts and clogged pores. So, before you do anything in your routine, you should wash your face with your choice face wash.  While there are plenty of great face washes available on the market, I recommend using the Caudalie Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser. This cleanser is vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. It can be used on all skin types and primarily focuses on skin issues such as acne, pores, blemishes, and oiliness. This facial wash uses natural salicylic and grape water to purify and cleanse, leaving you with soft and radiant skin.

STEP 2- TonerThe Ordinary – Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toning Solution

One of the most underrated parts of any skincare routine is toner. Toners are actually more essential than you may think. Depending on the toner you purchase, you can expect different effects on your skin. For instance, some toners work to remove excess oil, hydrate skin, or brighten skin. There are even anti-aging toners. However, toners are mainly used for removing bacteria, exfoliating, and protecting the skin.

The Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toning Solution from The Ordinary can be used on normal, dry, combination, and oily skin types. It is also vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and free of parabens. This toner uses ingredients like glycolic acid, Tasmanian pepperberry, ginseng, and aloe vera.

STEP 3- Hyaluronic Acid  – The Ordinary – Hylauronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum

Prior to putting on any moisturizer, it would be wise to slightly smear hyaluronic acid onto your skin. Hyaluronic acid is a skincare ingredient that can usually be found in some of your favorite serums and sheet masks. It works to provide moisture to the skin, which is very important. If you have dry skin or live in colder climates, consider adding a hyaluronic acid serum into your skincare routine. Once you see how radiant and bright your skin is, you will be glad you did.

A great hyaluronic acid to try out is the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum by The Ordinary! This Allure 2019 Best of Beauty Award Winning product can be used on normal, oily, combination, dry, and sensitive skin. It is also a vegan and cruelty-free product that has been formulated without oil, alcohol, silicone, nuts, and gluten. This serum works to hydrate your skin and reduce any dryness you may be experiencing. The best part about this product is its price. It costs less than $8 on sites like Sephora!

STEP 4- Moisturize Lotion: Day and Night – First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration

Similar to a face wash, moisturizer is one of the most important parts of any skincare routine. Moisturizer works to not only hydrate your skin, but can also reduce signs of aging and prevent acne. You should apply your moisturizer every morning and evening after you wash your face.

To keep your skin soft and hydrated, you should try the Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration from First Aid Beauty. This moisturizer works to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, dryness, and redness. It is a vegan product that is both cruelty-free and gluten-free. This moisturizer works best on dry, normal, and combination skin. It uses ingredients like colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, and allantoin to hydrate, soothe, and protect your skin.

STEP-5 Retinol CreamWhipped Argan Pro-Retinol Body Butter – Josie Maran

To give your skin the ultimate at-home spa treatment, consider trying a retinol cream. The purpose of retinol is to reduce signs of aging. Most often, you can spot retinol in the ingredients of popular anti-aging creams. It enhances your skin’s natural radiance and reduces the look of age spots and wrinkles. You can combine your retinol cream with your moisturizer or just look for a moisturizer with retinol in its ingredients.

So, if you want to look younger (and who doesn’t?) consider giving Josie Maran’s Whipped Argan Pro-Retinol Body Butter a chance. This cream uses amazing ingredients like Dunaliella Salina (Pink Algae) Extract, Quercetin, and Pure Argan Oil 100% to treat dryness and give you a firmer looking body. It will also target visible signs of aging on your body (such as an uneven texture) on your body. This product is also vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. It works best on dry, normal, combination, and oily skin.

STEP 6- Sunblock Face CreamDermalogica – Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 Moisturizer

The point of a skincare routine or buying skincare, in general, is to protect your skin. Well, one of the best ways to protect your skin is by using sunscreen. We all love to get tanned and spend a day in the sun, but if you’re not careful, you can seriously harm your skin. Not wearing sunscreen can make you more susceptible to skin cancer, premature aging, and give you an uneven skin tone.

To prevent this, you should start using a sunscreen like Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 Moisturizer from Dermalogica. This moisturizer can be used on oily, combination, normal, and dry skin. It is loaded with antioxidants that can help diminish visible signs of aging while protecting your skin. As always, it is a vegan product that is cruelty-free and gluten-free. It is also free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, mineral oil, and formaldehydes.
